ICHNAL is operated by Digital Gears LLC, registration number 405801404, with registered address at 41 Zakaria Paliashvili Street, Vake District, Tbilisi 0179, Georgia (the “Controller”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

2. Scope of this notice
This notice explains how personal data is handled when you visit ichnal.com, contact ICHNAL, or appear in a publicly sourced ICHNAL Item. It also explains the limited use of cookies on the current website.

Our hosting and security systems may process technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page, date and time, and security events. This information is used to deliver the website, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and protect the service.

People included in ICHNAL Items
Some ICHNAL Items concern professionals, creators, founders or other people whose work is publicly available. For these Items we may process a person’s name, professional role, publicly stated location, public profile or website links, and a short editorial description. This information is obtained from official websites, professional profiles and other public sources. We do not intentionally publish private contact details or sensitive personal data.
Payments
ICHNAL does not currently take payments through this website. If paid services are introduced, Digital Gears LLC will remain the service provider and merchant. DGPAYMENTS LTD, company number 17412169, registered at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom, may collect and reconcile payments on behalf of Digital Gears LLC. A payment provider such as Stripe may also process payment and fraud-prevention data under its own privacy notice. This notice will be updated before payment functionality is activated.
4. Purposes and legal bases
- Website delivery and security: our legitimate interests in operating a reliable and secure service.
- Responding to messages: our legitimate interests in communicating with users and partners, and steps requested before entering into a relationship or contract where relevant.
- Curating publicly available Items: our legitimate interests in operating a useful editorial discovery index, balanced against the rights of the people concerned.
- Legal and accounting obligations: compliance with applicable law where required.
We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
5. Cookies and analytics
The public website currently uses no advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or analytics tools. WordPress may use strictly necessary cookies for authorised administrators who sign in; these are not used to track public visitors for marketing.

Digital Gears LLC is established in Georgia and DGPAYMENTS LTD is established in the United Kingdom. Our technical providers may operate in other countries. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an appropriate legal mechanism and limit the data shared to what is necessary.
8. Retention
Technical logs are retained only for the period neded for security, diagnostics and legal requirements. Correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the request and maintain necessary business records. Publicly sourced Item information is reviewed periodically and retained while it remains relevant, accurate and appropriate for the discovery index.
9. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
You may also ask us to correct, update or remove an ICHNAL Item about you. Send requests to relationships@digitalgears.eu. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

ICHNAL links to third-party websites and original sources. Those websites control their own data practices. Their privacy notices apply after you leave ichnal.com.
11. Children
ICHNAL is a general discovery service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the public website.
